This is the DQ4 from Brown-Boveri, high voltage rectifier diode tube/valve (Einweg-Quecksilberdampf-Gleichrichterröhre mit Glühkathode) - pretty powerful item from a distant past. Background: LCD panel with some slow shutter lights taken on the same day.
And the last one for the season: monumental finale from the "Mekanik Destruktiw Kommandoh" by Magma (Le Triton, France, 2006) - not for everyone but give it a try. :)
