This is the DQ4 from Brown-Boveri, high voltage rectifier diode tube/valve (Einweg-Quecksilberdampf-Gleichrichterröhre mit Glühkathode) - pretty powerful item from a distant past. Background: LCD panel with some slow shutter lights taken on the same day.

Congatulations on winning gold for this entry. I knew it would win the moment I saw it. I don't know how you came up with the idea for the back panel but it is gorgeous and very striking.
