POLLUTION
Waste, rubbish, trash, refuse, garbage, or junk. According to the European Environment Agency statistics, the European Union alone generates one point three billion tonnes of waste each year. By 2020, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development estimates, we could be generating 45% more waste than we did in 1995. Before the compactor treatment, this was a car. Recycle and reuse!

A lovely frame-filling image with great compact, I mean, impact. I think this would have done very well to have a gritty B&W treatment on it. As it is, the black lighting and lack of contrast reduce its ooomph a bit. Well seen!

Contrary to kim, I like it in color. I find it looks like an abstract sculpture. Love it.

A really interesting gallery. I wonder what will be next. I love to see what everyone produces each day.

I like the "in your face / face the facts" feeling you've created with this photo. Trance Formation is the absolute complement to Pollution.

One thing I despise is useless packaging!!!
I realize we must have it, but I still despise it!!!
I like the fill the frame going on here, an interesting take on an essential evil.

Good photo to show the downside of the technical evolution / revolution. We cannot go back voluntary and I honestly hope we will not be forced to go back in time because all the good technology gives us but we do need to find a better solution for the waste we produce.

Compelling and thoughtful photo of a poor used up car (I though it was duct tape at first sight). I really enjoy the commentary you are putting with your photos.
